The Gemeinnützige Stiftung der Deutschen Beteiligungs AG has been providing funding for equine-assisted therapy for the daughter of an employee at a former Deutsche Beteiligungs AG portfolio company from 2012 to 2015. Born prematurely, the girl has a congenital heart defect which has required her to undergo surgery several times. Horseback riding is being used to support her physical development. Since this horseback riding therapy began in 2012, her motor skills have shown significant improvement.

The Gemeinnützige Stiftung der Deutschen Beteiligungs AG provided financial support for three years to make this therapy possible.
