By establishing the Gemeinnützige Stiftung der Deutschen Beteiligungs AG in 2010, Deutsche Beteiligungs AG laid the cornerstone for an ongoing commitment to its social and cultural responsibility.

The foundation's main focus is on promoting charitable and non-profit causes. To achieve these goals, it also allocates funds to other entities or legal persons for the realization of tax-privileged purposes. The foundation places particular emphasis on promoting and supporting children and young people who have had a difficult start in life, in order to open up opportunities for them and enable them to participate in society.

The foundation's purpose is also realized by supporting active and retired employees of current and former portfolio companies of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG and their relatives in need.

If the foundation's funds allow, it can also promote art and culture in the greater Frankfurt/Main area, where Deutsche Beteiligungs AG is headquartered.

The Deutsche Beteiligungs AG Charitable Foundation welcomes further endowments and donations. An endowment, which flows directly into the foundation's assets, broadens the foundation's activities and secures them in the long term. A donation can be used to support the foundation's ongoing work.
